About Me

Hi, I'm Sarah Dooley! For more than two decades, I've worked in the field of special education. I'm a licensed elementary and special education teacher in West Virginia, and I have served as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). I have a background in Direct Instruction and Precision Teaching. In my career, I've taught students from age 2 to 20 in public school, private school, clinic, and community settings. I'm also an award-winning middle grade author, most recently of Ashes to Asheville (G.P. Putnam's Sons Books for Young Readers). I have a lot of strong special interests of my own (Want to talk about horses? Let's talk about horses!) and I love to make materials for learners who are passionate about their favorite topics.
